Welcome to my portfolio! I’m Molly Margolis, a graduate of Purdue University's Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Animation. I enjoy drawing, singing, sewing, costume building, writing, and animation.
I have been drawing ever since I could hold a writing utensil, writing ever since Junior year of middle school, and singing ever since fourth grade. I have received professional voice coaching and have taken a variety of illustration classes using a diverse array of mediums to perfect my craft. Though I have received a small amount of sewing knowledge from classes, I am mostly self-taught and though I can use a machine, prefer to sew by hand.
My favorite things to animate are animals. Non-human creatures are adorable, eye-catching, intriguing, and extremely expressive. Some animals - such as deer or snakes - have an elegance to them that cannot hope to be replicated by a human. In addition, I enjoy illustrating skeletal and muscular structures. I have always found biology and the ways creatures' bodies work to be endlessly fascinating, and as an artist, it never hurts to brush up on anatomy.
I have chased my dream of becoming an animator for almost my entire life. Now let me help you achieve your dreams of media creation!
